We're happy to announce that Weed Records will be putting out the first US Petty Booka release The Best of Petty Booka. 19 songs in the addition to the 17 best songs from their "from Hawaii" releases, it features two brand-new, exclusive tracks: "Let's Talk Dirty in Hawaiian" and "These Boots Are Made For Walking."

Petty Booka
Hi, Petty Booka is planning to have the US tour and also going to do the new album recording there.
But as you know Booka just had a baby and she is not able to leave Linta in Japan. Of course Booka wants to go to US. We have been discussing this for last couple of months what we should do about this. Then we had new Booka.
She is Maiko the lead singer og the Candy Eyeslugger.
She is also a singer and Banjo player of The Apricots:(The apricots is a great all girl band: please check their web too)

She is the best friend of Petty and Booka and they do recording and live together a lots and Maiko plays ukulele (she also plays Banjo) and she loves Petty Booka!
Now all of us very happy that Maiko joined Petty Booka.
Please don't worry, When she gets ready to come back Booka will sing again though she can't say when it is.
Because she loves Linta so much at the moment!
I understand it. He is soooo sute!
So please welcome new Booka, Maiko.
She is a great singer and our best friend.

- I saw Christpher Doyle (a film director and camerama)in Beijing in July!

- Petty Booka has joined to the first Western Swing Band in Japan,Hiroshi Asada His Muddy Greeves as vocal and chorus.
This is Hiroshi Asada is Petty Bookas music producer.
They had a show with Deke Dickerson on Oct.3rd. at Shibuya Crocodile.

Asher(B) has a part time job at Baskin Robin Icecream shop and eating lots of icecream everyday.
- They start have a regular show with the coolest punk band, RUX at the club call WASP in Seoul.
- I am going to see their next gig in Seoul.
- They told me there is a new girls band now. 3 pcs high school student.
- They are working for their new album art work at the moment.
The new allbum will be release early next year.

I had a great time in Japan touring with Lolita No.18.
I am sleeping the a doll which Masayo gave me.
I have lots of homework and exam and don't have enough time to sleep. But I am also making new songs and have to watch the Wold Cup on TV!! I wish I could watch TV all day. i am looking for the summer vacation and go to Japan in August!! Kimurasan will take us to the Disney World!!!

Hi, All BENTEN fan in the world!
I can't wait to come back to Japan for the shows.It is hot in Seoul.I am busy to make new songs for our 2nd album. We are going to record it in Tokyo. We did learn a lot from the last Japan tour with Lolita No.18. I want say THANK YOU! everbody who said Oi! at our shows. I would like to see you all the next time we come to Japan in August.
I reallly think we are lucky to release CD from BENTEN Label and we have shows in Japan.

LITTLE FUJIKO
All the member of ex:Little Fujiko has started their own project.
It was their last show on April 20th at Heaven's Door.
The individual member starts their own solo project.
It is nice Fujiko(keybord) will play with Soap Land Momiyama.
It was 1994 when I first met them. They were the highschool students but already had their own Fujiko style of music,which was nostalgic, Ppsychedelic, oriental , improvisation rock.They've never played their song with the same arrangements.
They were the front act of Lolita No.18 1st album release party.
LITTLE FUJIKO is a special band for me. I love them.Thankyou for the wonderful two CDs released from BENTEN Label.
